Telecommunications drilling

Telephone, Internet and Fax signals are amplified by laser fibre optic Repeater Nodes laid every 30km along the ocean bed. Each Repeater Node manufactured by Mollart has a high integrity steel sea casing with an ultra-high surface finish in the bore for mounting the fibre optic equipment.

The casing is Deep Hole BTA Drilled, Turned, and then PVC coated for anti-corrosiveness, and is finally delivered as a turnkey product ready for the electronic and laser amplification equipment to be fitted.
