Mollart has specialised in Deep Hole Drilling since the development of its first dedicated gundrilling machine in 1965.

For a simple Deep Hole Drilling enquiry, we have over 30 Mollart machines installed in three factory locations in the UK – Chessington, Surrey – Chesterfield, Derbyshire – Neath, South Wales – ranging from small hole machines down to 0.5mm diameter through to large deep holes up to 300mm diameter and 3 metres deep and multspindle machines for high volume parts.

Mollart’s Deep Hole Drilling Capabilities

Gundrilling offers improved cycle times and improved bore tolerancing over conventional EDM-equivalent diameter machining.

Mollart’s Deep Hole Drilling service is enhanced by a selection of Honing machines where ultra-high bore surface finishes are required.

Horizontal Honing machine for achieving top quality surface finishes in bores 3-250mm diameter and up to 1500mm deep.
